What kind home theater system for following set up is needed?

I have a media room pre-wired for a 5.1 set up along w/ a hdtv, dvd player, xbox 360 and a ps2. I am new to home audio systems and was looking for insight on what to look for that can accomodate all of this mention above. Should i stick w/ the HTIB's or by everything separate? Thanks in advance.
