well, to keep them from coming back you probably need to release them several miles from your home. the bad news is that once you release them they are as good as dead. they have no shelter or reliable food sources.
drop them in a open field far away from your house. there they should get plenty of food.
Just drop them off where they will be someone else's problem. They are clever so it should take them no time to find warm shelter and food. If not, well, then they just die a slow painful death.
