What people call 'data entry' is actually online marketing.
Most places that you pay will train you to use Google marketing. This may or may not be for you. It is expensive, but the people who do well at it do very well. You can do online marketing and not use Google. There are ways to do it for free which are less time consuming and obviously less expensive, because they cost nothing. I used this company:

This lady does teach you how to do Google Adwords, but it's your choice. She also teaches you many ways to do free marketing. That is the benefit that she offers that no one else does.
I had signed on to this one place before and all they did was teach you how to use Google. They sucked at it and I got a refund.
Calling it data entry is a scam, but many people start it and love it. I didn't have any luck with using Google for marketing, but I did use the experience to figure out what I really wanted to do.

Hi I am a mother of two beautiful children, and like you I was looking for a way to stay at home with my kids and earn an income at the same time. Even more then all this is they are accepted at over 100,000 retailers nation wide. These are fortune 500 companies like Sears, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart and more. These companies would never work with a company that was any thing less then reputable. That made me feel very good about working with them knowing they were accepted at the stores I frequent. Also now of course being with them I get the benefits for free and I saved over $150 on my last visit to the dentist! That’s just a beautiful perk! : - )
When I first started I just felt very safe with them…. that and my friend was already making so much money with them! But at this point I feel a sense of security financially that our family has never had before. That plus LOVING what you do? What could be better?

P.S. If you are looking for a JOB there should be NO cost and I would NEVER pay or encourage anyone to pay money to work FOR someone else. This is a business, an inexpensive home business of your own, where you are your own boss. Of course it does cost some money to start any home business but that does NOT mean you should pay $500 or even $1000 to start a home business. Our start up costs are less then $100 bucks and we get SO much for that. Each month we cover only a very small portion of what it really costs to run our businesses, the company pays the rest for us. Including all of our web sites, training, materials, 401k, direct deposit, medical benefits and more. This company basically makes it possible for you to own your own home business and they foot almost 100% of the bill!!! Without them I never would have been able to afford my own business!
