Some of the older building materials and craftsmanship are superior to today's. Each individual house differs.
Perhaps you might find the architecture or the footprint ( layout ) of the house appealing.
Also, I would investigate the cost. A recycled home might be significantly cheaper than new.

They are still great homes.
I saw a program about recycling old tires/soda/beer cans,etc..Tires packed with dirt formed the outside walls. Soda/beer cans filled with sand, formed walls inside, stucco covered. The place was TOTALLY "off the grid". Insulated by earth, powered by the sun, etc....the place is AMAZING.

Thanks for reminding me about this place. More folks should be this self-sufficient.
Trust me. When it comes time to resell your home? Few will share your sentiments. Only buy, what you can safely, and profitably, resell.
A "moved" home is not the same as a recycled home. A home that has been moved from it's foundation will suffer some damage to it's structure. I would rather have a new home as opposed to a home that has been moved. My home is not new or moved. It was built in the 1960's. I feel that this is better than recycling, it's more like improving and reusing.
