What is the home remedy to get rid of spiderwebs in the basement?

there's a book out with home remedies for doing all types of things in your home generically, if someone knows what I'm talking about please submit name of book also.

You need to get rid of all the spiders that made the webs first!

as for the spiderwebs -- a broom would do just fine!

You really don't want to do that as spiders are killing other pests for you...it's the circle of life, Simba.

Spiders are good, but you have to control them. The best thing to do is sweep or shop vac the webs each week.
