How much does a nice manufactured home typically cost?

Me and my fiance want to get a home, and the manufactured homes seem like a easy cheaper way to get a suitable home. Does anyone know how much they usually run though?

It depends on how many square feet and if it is new or used. And also, don't forget the charge to move it to another location if needed.

I had a double wide 3 bedroom that I paid $70000.00 for but you can get them starting in the $30's. They usually come with all the appliances as well as window coverings and the setup is included. When you buy one where are you going to put it? Parks charge a monthly rental charge for the lot and if you want to move there's a moving cost. You should buy a lot yourself with utilities at the line and check the zoning first. Another word of advice, make sure the manufacture has been in business for a long time, Mine went out of business and so did my warranty. Their value does not increase.

you will need land to put it on permanently, and then septic and well ($10-20,000 total for those) or access to city water and sewer (hookup charges) or a spot in a park where your rent will increase every year for eternity(plus your mortgage payment) - google manufactured homes to see companies, models and prices

They would run you less than building, although you will have to still pay for lot preperation and the cost for shipping is usually included in the price of the home.
