How do you start home schooling your children in Wisconsin?

I have a 14 year old autistic son who is having major problems in school with children picking on him so I have decided to home school him. I need to know where to get the info for home schooling in Wisconsin. I need this ASAP. My son had a major melt down at school yesterday and he had to be taken away by the police for the safety of the other children. This is very serious! I don't want to see anyone get hurt or him put into an institution. Please send any info you have.

Thanks!

I would not contact the Board of Education. I would got to www.hslda.com or the other website that was suggested by Susan on your duplicate question. I believe it lists local homeschool groups that you can contact for information. Good luck to you!

Contact the Board of Education there. Also contact the Autism group in that state.

There is a program called Connections Academy, Which is a FREE online school. for K-10, which grades 11 and 12 being added in the next two years.

I would start with K12 Virtual Acadimies.

You will totally like this.

Homeschooling, i do this program called SOS or Switched on School house. It's a homeschooling program all on the computer. It grades the work for you!!! It is good but the only thing that is hard is the math, you might want to help him or get him a math tutor!!!!

Good luck!!!!!
